Bakery Scam

Fraud Alert – Business Impersonation Scam

We want to make our customers, partners, and local businesses aware of an ongoing scam involving individuals falsely representing our company.

We have received multiple reports that someone is contacting bakeries and other local businesses, placing large or custom orders while claiming to be affiliated with our organization. In several cases, the individual has attempted to pay using fraudulent methods, including fake e-checks, and has used our company name, branding, and information without authorization.

This activity is NOT associated with our business.

⚠️ Please Be Aware:

  • We have NOT authorized any bakery, catering, or food-related orders
  • We do NOT place large or custom orders without direct, verifiable communication
  • We do NOT send payments via e-checks or unusual payment methods
  • We will never request overpayments or ask for refunds to be sent elsewhere
  • We do NOT use third parties to place orders on our behalf
  • Any emails, calls, or messages using free or unrelated email domains (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) claiming to be us should be treated as suspicious
  • Scammers may use real employee names, business details, or logos to appear legitimate
  • Caller ID and email addresses can be spoofed to look like they are coming from our company
  • Requests that create urgency (tight deadlines, large rush orders, etc.) are a common scam tactic

🔍 How to Protect Your Business:

If you receive an order or request claiming to be from our company:

  • Do NOT fulfill the order
  • Do NOT accept or deposit payment
